Grouping records

A well-designed report is organized so readers can easily analyze information. Grouping similar sets of records helps readers isolate and study specific information. The following procedure shows an example of grouping using the Customer report.

To group records:

Click Group Group Expert.The Group Expert dialog box appears:



Select State from the Available Fields list, click > to move the selection to the Group By area and click OK. The customer records are now grouped according to the states in which they are located.
